The Game Will Require A PSN Account
Yeah… The game’s Steam page has confirmed that the game will require a PlayStation Network Account. It might not seem like a big deal but the problem is that not every region has access to PSN and the fact that the game is coming on Steam and yet you need a PSN account is pretty weird, to say the least. Oh well, let’s hope fans get a solution before it gets the Helldivers 2 treatment.
Any DLC Update?
Unfortunately, no additional story content is planned for the game. According to the information provided by the PlayStation Blog, the devs have confirmed that all the previously released content on the console will be present for PC on release.
While we have no additional story content planned for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we’re delighted to bring all of our previously released post-launch content to the PC version, including New Game+, new suits and color variants, Photo Mode features, and more. We’re also delighted to announce that the Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack, our charity collab with non-profit Gameheads, will be available for PS5 players in October and PC on launch at no additional cost.
As far as additional content is concerned, one thing is certain, the devs could be focusing on the Venom spinoff game that got leaked from Insomniac Games Hack so we can only hope that they take their time to deliver a spectacular experience for fans to enjoy. Regarding the PC version, the minimum and recommended specs haven’t been confirmed yet.
Hopefully, we’ll get that info soon as well. This was a surprise announcement as I thought the game would take at least another year before it’s out on PC. But hey, no complaints from my side. Let’s hope they deliver a fantastic PC port to enjoy for everyone.
