2025 is almost here and with it come upcoming anime games that deserve every anime fan’s attention. From Arena Fighters to 2D Fighters to Action/Adventure titles, here are the top 2025 Anime games you can’t miss.
Bleach: Rebirth of Souls
Release Date: 21st March, 2025
Platforms: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, PC
Bleach fans are having the best time ever right now. With the Thousand-Year Blood War Anime going above and beyond expectations, the franchise is also getting a new console game since 2011’s Bleach: Soul Resurrección. While 2016’s Bleach Brave Souls is doing quite well, there was still demand for a new game and this feels like the fan’s request has been answered.
A new arena fighter featuring all favorite Bleach characters including the addition of the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, the game indeed looks promising and could ignite a new era of Bleach games if it succeeds. It won’t be long till fans get to experience Bleach: Rebirth of Souls and battle as their chosen Shinigami, Arrancar, or Quincy.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2
Release Date: 2025
Platforms: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, PC
Sequel to the first Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles game released in 2021, Hinokami Chronicles 2 takes things up a notch with its updated visuals and presentation. The game is set to adapt the story till Hashira Traning Arc (Demon Slayer Anime Season 4). So far, this is the only info we have on the game but given the fact that CyberConnect 2 is developing the game, it’s bound to be visually pleasing just like the Naruto Storm series was.
Dragon Ball Project: Multi
Release Date: 2025
Platforms: iOS, Android, PC
Taking inspiration from games like League of Legends, Pokémon Unite, and other MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) games, Dragon Ball Project: Multi is a 4v4 battle game where players battle each other using Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and other iconic characters in the franchise to capture the Dragon Ball and claim victory. The game ran a beta test before which went pretty well.
Despite the death of the creator of the franchise, Akira Toriyama, the franchise is still kicking strong which goes to show how much of an impact the series has made for fans of all ages. With the recent massive success of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, here’s to hoping this new game keeps up the track for successful Dragon Ball games.
Fate/Extra Record
Release Date: 2025
Platforms: PS5, PS4, PC (Steam)
A remake of the original Fate/EXTRA game released for the PSP in 2010, this game evolves the original title by a mile with its new gameplay, visuals, and overall presentation. Since its announcement in 2020, the game has been providing very small updates on its progress but despite taking quite a while to release new trailers, the game looks quite promising.
Whether you’re a Fate fan or not, this game is worth trying, and for those who’re confused if this is related to the Fate/Stay Night Anime, it’s not. Just think of it as an alternate universe in the Fate series and go with a blank mindset to not get confused.
Hunter × Hunter: Nen × Impact
Release Date: 2025
Platforms: PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam)
After more than 12 years since a new game (the last game being Hunter × Hunter: Wonder Adventure for PSP), Hunter × Hunter: Nen × Impact is set to bring a new 2D fighter experience for fans and newcomers alike. Giving off vibes like the PS2-era anime fighting games, this game could be a new contender for EVO Championships given it succeeds in bringing a huge player base and could end up being one of the most eye-catching 2025 Anime games.
Conclusion
These are the current top 2025 Anime games I highly recommend not missing out on. Whether you’re new to Anime, a huge fan, or have just heard of them, these 2025 anime games are worth checking out.
