- Insomniac Games recently suffered major leaks revealing unannounced projects in development.
- One of these projects is the Venom spinoff that is seemingly arriving in Fall 2025.
- Other projects include an X-Men game and the possibility of multiplayer in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
As shown in one of the leaked images above, projects like Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, a new Ratchet and Clank, X-Men, and a new IP in Insomniac’s roadmap will continue until 2032. Furthermore, another leak reveals the potential name of the Venom spinoff game titled “Venom: Lethal Protector.“
Details regarding the spinoff include its storyline and the option to switch between Venom and “Spider-Heroes,” potentially indicating that players can switch with both Peter and Miles. Most importantly, Carnage could be the main villain bringing the infected New York City back.
As for the game’s length, it could be around 8–10 hours with the golden path, which includes 12 missions and 3 event bosses. In addition, quests, challenges, crime activity, bases, and collectibles will be included for additional content, that could be related to the open-world experience players can expect from the spinoff.
While this does give an idea of what can be expected from the Venom spinoff, there’s no telling what changes might be made during development. Therefore, we’ll have to wait for the official reveal to get confirmed information regarding the title.
